Description

Business Incident Management is a structured approach an organisation takes to prepare for, respond to, and recover from events that disrupt normal operations but do not require emergency‑service involvement – Business Emergencies

The Business Incident Management Programme is delivered through a series of interchangeable modules tailored to Operational (Bronze), Tactical (Silver) and Strategic (Gold) management levels.

While some modules are specific to the responsibilities and decision-making requirements of each level, others are common across all levels to ensure a consistent understanding of incident management, business continuity and organisational resilience throughout the organisation.

This flexible approach allows organisations to build role-specific capability whilst maintaining a common framework, language and methodology for managing disruptive events, supporting effective communication, escalation and coordinated decision-making during an incident.

This training course is designed for operational staff, managers and team leaders, and senior leaders and C-Suite members.

It provides a clear understanding of how incidents arise, how they should be assessed and managed, and how effective coordination and communication can minimise impact on people, services, and reputation.

It will also provide a clear understanding of coordinated response and interoperability when the business emergency is also a ’Blue Light Emergency’.

This is the only course available of its kind which has been peer reviewed and accredited through the formal awarding body, Skills for Justice (SfJ). It is also the only course of its kind which has been developed through lived and learnt experience, not in the emergency services world, but in the world of business and business emergencies.
