Our dedicated team of directors, tutors and assessors are committed to delivering high-quality training and support. With extensive industry knowledge and a passion for learning, they work together to help every learner achieve their goals and reach their full potential.

All of the Team are Suitably Qualified Experienced Personnel, who are both Occupationally and Operationally Competent in the subject areas and as tutors and assessors.

Jim F

Jim has a strong background in incident management, security and health and safety

With over 20+ years’ operational policing experience. Jim was responsible for leading teams, coordinating critical incidents, conducting investigations and strengthening organisational resilience across policing, 

He has worked in renewable energy, critical infrastructure and private security preparing organisations for disruption, delivering structured incident response, and embedding learning through root cause analysis and post‑incident review.

John O

John retired from the police service after a distinguished 30-year career, during which he developed extensive expertise in specialist search operations, training, operational planning, and public safety.

Throughout his career, he held a number of specialist roles, including Search Coordinator, Search Advisor, and Licensed Search Officer. In these positions, he was responsible for planning and coordinating complex operations.

Alongside his search expertise, John was a qualified trainer, delivering instruction across a range of specialist disciplines. His experience included Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) training, serving as a Radiation Protection Supervisor, and developing and delivering operational training programmes.

John also completed specialist qualifications in operational policing and event planning, contributing to the successful management of major operations and large-scale events.

Mark Ish

Mark has over 20 years of combined experience in uniformed services. He began his career in the British Army, specialising as a high threat search technician serving operationally as part of the United Kingdom's Joint Force Explosive Ordnance Disposal Group. 

Once leaving the army Mark retrained for a career in the emergency services graduated as Paramedic and worked on front line emergency care for over 10 years. Mark also has extensive experience as an Instructor and Educator.

Mark also had over 13 years experience in UK Search and Rescue, specialising as a Search Partly Leader, and Course Instructor as part of the Medical Training Team, Mark holds Fellowship Status with The Academy of Operational Medicine and is a Graduate of The Institute for Search and Technical Rescue.

Mark S

With over twenty years of experience in aviation and counter-terrorism, Mark's career began as an airline pilot, providing him with substantial operational aviation expertise. 

He then moved to become the Head of Resilience at Manchester Airport, where he was responsible for emergency planning, business continuity, and crisis management. 

Following this role, Mark served as the senior Terrorism Risk and Resilience Consultant for the UK Government's Terrorism Reinsurance Body. 

Additionally, he brings military experience in security and resilience operations to his extensive professional background.

Robbie D

Serving for over forty years in the British Army promoting through the ranks to retire as a Major. Robbie has been responsible for planning and leading military and civil operations in the most challenging of environments. 

Dealing with the ultimate need for team coordination and understanding in high stress and dynamic conditions.
